Fixed Bridges
What to expect
A fixed dental bridge is a reliable solution used to replace one or more missing teeth by literally “bridging” the gap between healthy teeth. It’s a non-removable restoration that restores function, maintains your facial structure, and helps keep your bite properly aligned—all while giving you a natural-looking, confident smile.
What Is a Dental Bridge?
A bridge consists of one or more prosthetic teeth (called pontics) that are anchored in place by crowns on the adjacent natural teeth or dental implants. The result is a seamless replacement that looks and feels like your own teeth.
Why Choose a Bridge?
Bridges are a great option if you’re missing teeth and want to:
Restore your ability to chew and speak comfortably
Maintain your natural facial shape
Prevent neighboring teeth from shifting out of place
Avoid removable partial dentures or implants
Improve the appearance of your smile
At Drangsholt Dental, we take care to design bridges that blend beautifully with your existing teeth—so no one knows it’s not natural.
What to Expect
Getting a fixed bridge usually takes two appointments:
Tooth Preparation & Impressions – The teeth adjacent to the gap are prepared for crowns, and we take digital or physical impressions to ensure a perfect fit. A temporary bridge is placed while your custom bridge is being crafted.
Final Placement – Once your bridge is ready, Dr. Drangsholt will bond it securely in place and make any needed adjustments to ensure optimal comfort, bite, and aesthetics.
We work closely with top dental labs to ensure your bridge is strong, natural-looking, and built to last.
A dental bridge is more than a tooth replacement—it’s a way to restore confidence, comfort, and full function to your smile. If you’re missing one or more teeth, we’re here to walk you through your options and build a solution that supports your long-term oral health.
