What to Expect at Your First Visit to Drangsholt Dental

Our new patient experience is designed to give us a thorough understanding of your oral health, your goals, and what matters most to you so that we can build a relationship and a care plan that truly fits your needs.
Before Your Visit
Your care at Drangsholt Dental begins the moment you schedule your appointment. We will send you a records release form to sign so that our team can reach out to your previous dental office and gather your dental history and X-rays on your behalf. Having that information ready before you arrive means Dr. Connor can walk into your appointment fully prepared and your visit can be focused entirely on you, your health, and where you want to go from here.
A Warm Welcome
When you arrive, our front desk team will greet you and help you get settled. If you haven't already completed your new patient paperwork online, we'll get that taken care of for you. We encourage you to arrive a few minutes early so we can make sure everything is in order before your appointment begins.
A Conversation About You
Before we do anything else, we want to hear from you. One of our team members will sit down with you to talk about your dental history, any concerns you may have, and what you are hoping to achieve with your dental care. Comprehensive Dental Photos
We routinely take a full series of dental photographs at every new patient visit. These photos give us a detailed view of your teeth, gums, and overall oral health that goes far beyond what the eye can see during a standard exam. Full Mouth X-Rays
We will also take a comprehensive set of dental X-rays, which are an essential part of understanding your oral health beneath the surface. Your Cleaning Visit
Your professional cleaning will typically be scheduled at a separate follow-up appointment. This allows us to review your exam findings and X-rays thoroughly and ensure that your cleaning is tailored specifically to your needs.
