For decades, our practice has been a cornerstone of dental care in the Lakewood community, built on a foundation of trust, relationships, and a commitment to doing what's best for every patient.
Originally known as O’Connor Dentistry, the practice was led by Dr. Ralph O’Connor and later carried forward by his daughter, Dr. Beth O’Connor, who continued to build upon that legacy with dedication to patient care, continuing education, and clinical excellence.
Many patients still recognize the O'Connor name, a reflection of the long-standing relationships and generations of families who have trusted this practice with their care.
Today, Dr. Connor Drangsholt continues that tradition, combining the values established by his grandfather and mother with a modern, comprehensive approach to dentistry, ensuring that the practice continues to evolve while staying true to what has always mattered most: thoughtful, patient-centered care.
Dr. Ralph O’Connor achieved national recognition for his contributions to dentistry, particularly as a pioneer of interdisciplinary care - an approach that brings multiple specialists together to design comprehensive treatment plans for each patient.
What began as a collaborative effort among a small group of dentists in Tacoma has since become a foundational model for modern dentistry worldwide, reflecting a belief that patients deserve more than any single provider can offer alone.
